Cyntec will present power magnetics, silicon carbide (SiC) power modules and resistive current sensing technology for automotive electrification and AI computing at Electronica, held in Munich from 10 to 13 November 2026.
In its automotive zone, Cyntec is showing components aimed at four application areas. For ADAS, it offers miniaturised low loss inductors for SoC and PMIC power delivery, Power over Coax inductors that combine power and high speed data on a single cable for cameras and radar, and common mode filters for Automotive Ethernet and CAN. For battery disconnect units, the company's calibration free shunt sensors are intended to reduce calibration overhead, and its ASIL C/D compliant shunt modules, built to support ISO 26262 functional safety requirements, offer current measurement accuracy of up to ±0.1%, according to Cyntec.
For EV powertrains, Cyntec cites transformer technology for on board chargers that cuts transformer size or height by up to 30%, and low profile transformers for high voltage DC-DC converters that reduce height by up to 40% with lower high frequency losses. Insulated over moulded EMI filters for traction inverters are said to cut size by up to 35% and weight by up to 30%. The company's SiC power module portfolio includes an integrated 3-in-1 traction inverter module using a leadframe-less design that Cyntec says reduces package size by 60% and stray inductance by 50%. A separate OBC module uses a thermally decoupled architecture that removes extra insulation layers to lower thermal resistance and parasitic capacitance.
On the AI computing side, Cyntec is highlighting power module technology for board level power consumption above 5 kW, high power magnetics including common mode chokes, moulded chokes and DC-DC transformers for PSUs, battery backup units and capacitor backup units, and SiC power modules intended to cover AC-DC conversion across power shelves and racks, downstream DC-DC networks, and solid-state transformers and circuit breakers for 800 Vdc data centre power architectures.
Cyntec will exhibit at Hall A6, Booth 303.
