Cableteque has expanded its wire-harness quoting and engineering platform into Europe ahead of electronica in Munich in November.
The software extracts bills of materials from drawings, identifies missing information and combines component pricing with labour estimates. Cableteque says it already serves customers in the UK and Europe as well as North American aerospace, defence, medical and industrial markets.
European hosting and supplier links
From 30 September 2026, European customer data can be hosted in AWS Europe Central. The platform also provides language translation, currency conversion and access to negotiated pricing from distributors with European operations.
Cableteque names Avnet Europe, Abacus Europe, TTI Europe, IEWC Europe and WireMasters Europe among the supplier relationships available through the service. Customers retain their own pricing arrangements rather than purchasing through a marketplace operated by Cableteque.
Security certification remains a target
The company is targeting ISO 27001 certification in December 2026. It is not yet claiming that certification. European data hosting may support a customer’s governance requirements, but the announcement does not establish how every processing, retention and access-control function is handled.
Cableteque has not published independent benchmarks for quotation speed, extraction accuracy or labour estimation. Its European launch establishes local hosting and commercial support, while the performance claims remain company-supplied.
