CELUS adds Mouser pricing and stock data to BOM selection

CELUS, the Munich-based developer of an AI-powered electronics design platform, has integrated Mouser Electronics supply chain data directly into its component selection workflow. Engineers using the CELUS Design Assistant can now see pricing and availability for bill of materials items alongside the technical specifications used to select them.
In the CELUS workflow, engineers define board or system requirements and refine specifications with AI guidance, after which CELUS proposes a hardware architecture and matches its functions to CUBO modules, reusable component applications with associated schematics and parts lists. With the Mouser integration, the resulting project BOM now also shows, for each part, price breaks, stock levels, order quantity, line total and packaging information drawn from Mouser.
Sourcing data alongside technical fit
According to CELUS, evaluating pricing and availability against the intended production volume allows engineers to identify cost overruns and stock shortages, and to compare sourcing options, before moving into detailed design and PCB layout. The company says this brings sourcing viability into the same view as electrical suitability, rather than treating the two as separate steps.
"Engineers are under increasing pressure to balance performance, cost, and availability when selecting components," said Russell Rasor, vice president of global supplier marketing at Mouser. "Our partnership with CELUS will give engineers immediate access to pertinent supply chain insights to help them make better decisions faster. It's also a unique opportunity for Mouser to engage with engineers earlier in the design process and help them turn innovative ideas into successful products."
From BOM to Mouser cart
An "Order with Mouser" function transfers BOM lines assigned to Mouser into a shopping cart at the calculated order quantities, for the engineer to review and complete checkout on mouser.com. CELUS states that it does not itself place orders or process payments; the purchase transaction remains with Mouser.
Project schematics and BOMs can also be exported to supported EDA environments, including Altium Designer, KiCad, Siemens Xpedition and Autodesk Fusion, for detailed design review and PCB layout.
"Component selection commits a project to supply chain constraints that affect its cost and production plans," said Tobias Pohl, CEO and co-founder of CELUS. "By bringing Mouser's pricing and availability into CELUS, we help engineers understand those implications early and make informed trade-offs while they still have the flexibility to adapt the design."
CELUS states that the Mouser integration is available now on the CELUS Design Platform. The companies plan to demonstrate it at electronica 2026, held 10 to 13 November at Messe München, in Hall C5, Booth 558.
