DCA Manufacturing has obtained AS9100D quality-management certification for its electronics manufacturing facilities in Troy, Michigan, and Cumberland, Wisconsin.

The certified scope covers the manufacture, servicing and testing of electronic printed-circuit-board assemblies, together with complex system integration.

AS9100D incorporates the requirements of ISO 9001 while adding quality, risk-management, traceability and configuration-control provisions for aviation, space and defence supply chains. Certification applies to the organisation's quality-management system rather than certifying individual assemblies or products.

DCA said the approval expands its ability to support aerospace and defence programmes requiring an AS9100-certified manufacturing partner. The company provides PCB assembly, box-build integration, cable and wire-harness production, engineering support and test services.

Its published manufacturing capabilities also include work to IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Class 2 and Class 3 requirements. DCA separately holds certifications associated with medical-device and automotive manufacturing.

The company announced the AS9100D certification on 6 October 2026.
