Cadence has made its upgraded Munich data centre available through OnCloud, bringing together NVIDIA Vera and Grace CPU systems and the Blackwell-powered Millennium M2000 supercomputer. The service supports semiconductor design, advanced packaging and system simulation, with Cadence specifying that design data remains within European jurisdiction.

“Chip designs and AI infrastructure are strategic assets for European industry,” said Tim Costa, NVIDIA’s vice president and general manager of industrial and computational engineering.

The deployment also includes Cadence’s Reality Digital Twin Platform. Customers can model power delivery, cooling and equipment placement before installation; Cadence plans to use the same platform to assess its own Munich infrastructure. The facility expands its European cloud provision and can support startups participating in the EuroCDP programme. OnCloud holds ISO 27001 and ISO 27017 certifications and a SOC 2 Type II attestation.

The M2000 combines Cadence simulation software with NVIDIA accelerated computing. Offering it through the Munich service gives customers access to that hardware without installing a corresponding system on their own premises.
