SEALSQ says its QS7001 V1 secure element has passed the physical and functional testing stage of its Common Criteria EAL5+ evaluation at SERMA Safety & Security, with site audits scheduled for January 2027 before the report goes to France's ANSSI for formal certification.

The evaluation covers the chip's security functions and resistance to attacks including fault injection and side-channel analysis. SEALSQ identifies the claimed assurance level as EAL5 augmented with ALC_DVS.2 and AVA_VAN.5, and targets certificate issuance during 2027.

QS7001 provides the hardware platform for the VaultIC409 secure element and QVault TPM, both of which the company plans to demonstrate at electronica from 10 to 13 November, in Hall C6, stand 670. SEALSQ separately expects the V2 full post-quantum evaluation in January, alongside the remaining V1 certification work.
