Raspberry Pi has raised the list prices of the 2GB Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi 5 by $10, citing continued increases in memory costs.

The 2GB Raspberry Pi 4 moves from $45 to $55, while the 2GB Raspberry Pi 5 rises from $55 to $65. The company has left the prices of its 1GB products unchanged.

Raspberry Pi said memory costs have increased steeply over the past two years and continue to affect production costs. The change follows earlier adjustments to higher-memory products.

The 2GB configuration is used in embedded systems that need more headroom than a minimal 1GB Linux installation but do not require the larger 4GB, 8GB or 16GB variants. A $10 board-level increase can therefore alter the cost of volume deployments built around that specific memory tier.

The announcement changes recommended list prices rather than guaranteeing a price at every reseller. Regional tax, exchange rates, availability and contract volumes can produce different selling prices.

Raspberry Pi said it will continue to review pricing as memory-market conditions change.
