The proposed purchase adds a San Jose fabrication and assembly operation serving semiconductor test, technology and aerospace customers.

PCB Technologies has agreed to acquire all shares in Gorilla Circuits in a transaction valuing the US printed circuit board manufacturer at $120m, subject to customary purchase-price adjustments.

Announced on 8 October, the acquisition would establish a US manufacturing operation for the Israeli company. Gorilla Circuits fabricates and assembles boards at its San Jose campus, specialising in high-mix, low-volume and short-lead-time work.

PCB Technologies said Gorilla serves more than 700 active customers. Technology and semiconductor customers accounted for approximately 35% of its sales in the first half of 2026, with aerospace and defence accounting for about 40%.

Gorilla's published capabilities include semiconductor final-test and probe cards with more than 70 layers. It also lists flying-probe testing of completed assemblies and X-ray inspection of leadless devices at the surface-mount and final-quality stages.

PCB Technologies plans to introduce more of its advanced substrates, microelectronics and IC-packaging capabilities to Gorilla's customers. The buyer's portfolio includes multilayer rigid, rigid-flex and multi-flex boards, complex assemblies and electro-mechanical subsystems.

The deal would be completed through a wholly owned subsidiary and financed using credit facilities from two Israeli banks. Completion requires customary conditions, including approval from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.

PCB Technologies expects the transaction to close within eight months. It said Gorilla's existing facilities are equipped to support near-term growth without immediate material capital investment.
