Navitas Semiconductor has announced a 24kW power-delivery board that converts 800V DC directly to 12V DC, developed with NVIDIA for next-generation AI infrastructure.

The GaNFast-based board uses NVIDIA's 400 × 60mm form factor and is intended to supply a complete compute tray. Navitas specifies a target efficiency of 97% at full load and power density exceeding 2,000W per cubic inch.

Its single-stage conversion delivers 12V to the voltage-regulator modules supplying the processors. The architecture removes the intermediate 50V-to-12V conversion stage used in the comparison described by Navitas.

The company says the board can be integrated onto the compute motherboard close to the processors, reducing the length of the power-delivery path.

The design extends Navitas' 800V portfolio beyond its 20kW, 800V-to-6V board developed with NVIDIA. It is a separate development from the Microchip/Navitas 800V-to-6V reference design reported by TEB earlier this month.

The new board is planned for display in NVIDIA's AI Factory MGX ecosystem area at the OCP Global Summit in San Jose.
