Mouser has added Xsens Sirius RTK GNSS/INS modules to stock, giving autonomous vehicle, robotics and marine equipment developers access to navigation units combining satellite positioning with inertial sensing.

The modules pair a quad-band GNSS receiver with sensor fusion software intended to maintain position and orientation estimates when satellite reception deteriorates. An uncertainty output provides a real-time indication of data quality.

Interfaces include RS232, RS422, CAN and CAN-FD. Mouser says the units have undergone MIL-STD-202 testing for shock, vibration and environmental robustness.

For the Sirius RTK GNSS/INS model, Xsens specifies a 4.5V to 24V supply, typical consumption below 1W and an IP68-rated aluminium enclosure. The unit measures 56.5 × 40.9 × 36.75mm and weighs 103g.

Xsens lists surveying, mapping, autonomous ground vehicles and marine heave compensation among its applications. Its MT Software Suite includes a configuration interface, operating system drivers, documentation and example code.
