Lattice Sentry 5.0 adds post-quantum firmware protection and attestation

Lattice Semiconductor has released version 5.0 of its Sentry solution stack, adding post-quantum cryptography to platform firmware protection, recovery and device attestation.
The stack combines Lattice FPGA security functions with AMI platform-management software. Lattice says it supports NIST SP 800-193 platform firmware resilience, including protection, detection and autonomous recovery for BIOS, baseboard-management-controller firmware and other board firmware.
Its cryptographic functions include ML-DSA, LMS and XMSS authentication and ML-KEM key exchange, alongside classical algorithms including ECDSA and AES-GCM. Lattice describes the post-quantum implementation as aligned with CNSA 2.0 requirements.
The update also includes secure firmware updates, anti-rollback protection, key provisioning and revocation, and secure decommissioning. Device attestation uses Security Protocol and Data Model, while Device Identifier Composition Engine provides a basis for device identity and measured platform integrity.
The offering includes reference platforms, IP and development tools. Lattice says demo boards and custom design services are available.
