DBT updates End-User and Stockist Undertaking export form
The Department for Business and Trade has published Notice to Exporters 2026/20, confirming revisions to the End-User and Stockist Undertaking form and its accompanying guidance. The notice was first published on 30 September 2026.
The EUSU forms part of the UK export licensing process for controlled goods. It records undertakings from an overseas end-user or stockist concerning the intended use, handling and possible onward transfer of exported items. That can include dual-use and strategic electronic components covered by an export licence application.
No change log accompanies the notice
The notice states that the form and guidance have been updated but does not identify changes to fields, declarations, supporting evidence or wording. It also gives no separate effective date or transitional arrangement for undertakings already being prepared.
The scale and practical effect of the revision therefore cannot be established from the notice itself. The updated form and guidance are the primary documents, while NTE 2026/20 provides no comparison with the previous version.
