Inission has agreed to acquire Bavaria Digital Technik for €5.3m, establishing a German manufacturing presence through an EMS business with approximately 110 employees in Pfronten.

The agreement covers all shares in BDT and was negotiated with the insolvency administrator of AD Capital. Completion and consolidation are planned for 2 November, subject to the agreement’s conditions. Inission says the employees will remain in the business, which operates from premises it owns.

BDT serves industrial automation, medical technology and energy customers. Its published capabilities extend from component engineering and design for manufacture through SMT and through-hole assembly, selective and wave soldering, in-circuit test and functional test. It also provides procurement, assembly and repair services.

BDT recorded approximately €20m revenue and €1.25m EBITDA in 2025. Inission expects the acquisition to contribute around €17m in annual revenue.

The transaction is being funded partly through a €2.65m acquisition loan. Inission says the German operation will retain its local presence within the larger group.
