Communications Test Engineer I
Build and run test systems for satellite communications, combining RF measurement, modem verification and Python automation in Milton Keynes.
The role
The work
Develop measurement setups and reusable test software for communications links at baseband and RF. Investigate performance problems, assess calibration and measurement uncertainty, and work with DSP, hardware and software engineers to improve the system.
What the employer asks for
A relevant engineering, computing or physics degree, with at least two years of RF measurement and instrumentation experience and two years of Python programming. Experience with automated tests, satellite modem standards, laboratory instruments and statistical analysis is useful.
